Ave 26 is a must when you're out in LA and craving tacos. The line can get extremely long but it moves super fast. They are assembly line style and move super efficiently. The staples like pastor and asada are fantastic here but you always have to grab some cabeza(head) or lengua(tongue) tacos as well. Don't by shy. Pro tip grab the grilled onions, grilled peppers, and a potato at the end of the meats section. This taco stand is located in an LA parking lot and nothing beats the vibe standing around in a circle eating with friends after a night out.

Wonderful taco stand located right outside a Vons in the Eagle Rock area. Delicious tacos with a DIY salsa / toppings bar and some of the friendliest folks you will ever meet to help you. I came on a weeknight so the place wasn't very busy at all. It was a really chill vibe and I was able to order pretty much right away. There was some street parking in plenty of lot parking. I've been to their other location before and I really loved it. This one feels a little different in the fact that there's probably less traffic that comes through here. (Maybe it's different when it's not on a weekend) I came here specifically for the short rib tacos. Got a couple of the short rib tacos and a chicken taco. Just note that the short ribs are bone in and they come atop of a tortilla so when you're eating these tacos, you just have to be mindful of the bone. After the DIY toppings/salsa bar, I enjoyed my tacos and thought they were very flavorful. The overall meal was very reasonable as well and would definitely be on my rotation if I lived closer to this area.

I'm a big fan of Ave 26 tacos! I normally go to the Little Tokyo location, but this one is closer to home. They were kind enough to give us a sample of the ribs since we've never had it before and it was really good! We paid $25 for 11 tacos! So much meat and plenty of self serve toppings and sauces as well. You can also buy drinks too. They take cash or Zelle at this location. You can park the plaza with the grocery store and the taco area is on the sidewalk. There's a big red truck so you can't miss it!

Right next to the Vons grocery store here. We got 5 tacos and one quesadilla for $25. They're fast and at the time of our visit, some used gloves and some didn't. It's a street taco stand so just understand that for your cleanliness comfort level. No issues for us on this visit. The tacos, albeit small were plentiful in meat. We tried to the asada, chorizo, al pastor, cabeza and tripa. All were good. The quesadilla, we added chorizo and al pastor which was also tasty. There are large buckets for all the condiments, avocado, green, and red salsa along with limes, chopped onions/cilantro, and radishes. You can ask them for grilled onions by the grill too. Overall we had a positive experience and will likely be back!

Late night tacos near the arts district. Heavily guarded w security in Parking lot. Lots of spots and people eating at their cars. No tables available. Not the friendliest workers but at $2.50 a taco its ok. The service is slow, not sure why but again for the price!!! We had Pastor and Lengua. They give you meat on small tortillas. Street taco style. Pay then get your own toppings and salsas. Not cleanest area for adding toppings but for the price!! Its ok. The setting is a temporary set up in a parking lit next to a parking structure. I do recommend tacos here. Great for late night hunger!! They offer quesadillas also.

This is my favorite taco stand to grab tacos and they're open late too. You start by telling the cooks what you would like to order and they will help assemble the meats into your tortillas as a taco or burrito. Afterwards, you would pay the cashier. My favorite meats are the al pastor and Suadero because the meats are flavorful and juicy. After you paid for your food, you can grab the toppings and condiments. There are also aqua frescas that you can purchase, my favorite is the pineapple which is light and refreshing. There are no tables so we put our plates of food on top of the car trunk and ate.
